HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DESIGN A WEBSITE FROM SCRATCH?
A custom designed website can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to fully develop.
It will depend on the complexity of the website. I generally advise that the website will be completed in about a month. If you need the website completed sooner, just let me know. I will always do my best to complete your website by your deadline.
OTHER FREELANCE WEB DESIGNERS SAY THEY CAN BUILD A WEBSITE FOR LESS THAN YOU, WHY NOT CHOOSE THEM?
Be very careful of anyone who says they’ll build you a web site for a few hundred dollars. Developing a website is a process that requires a lot of work from design to coding and SEO practices. A properly developed site takes time. Any professional web designer will not charge a couple of hundred dollars for his/her work. The ones that do will basically take your money and run. They’ll ask you for five pages of text and then put it into a free template and that’s it. They’ll build your site with a free online website builder like wix or weebly or a free template they downloaded. They’ll all look very generic. More importantly, Your site won’t be optimized for search engines as Google favors custom coded websites.
WILL I BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEBSITE MYSELF, OR DO I HAVE TO COME TO YOU FOR CHANGES?
Yes, definitely! All my websites are created in WordPress content management system (CMS). A content management system allows you to login to a back-end and make changes to you website as needed. I always use Premium WordPress themes that are loaded with many features and options that will enable you to easily manage your website without knowing how to code. If you can use Microsoft Word, then you can edit the website. You will simply need to click on the content you want to change and that’s it.
IF I NEED SMALL EDITS OR ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER THE SITE GOES LIVE, HOW DOES THAT WORK?
I always provide my clients with 30 days of free maintenance after your website officially goes live. During this period I will make modifications to your website, free of charge.
After the 30 day period, I will charge my hourly rate for any work needed. I always provide flat rates in order to keep costs down.
